Gypsies are groups of people of different ethnics who have nomadic life. Gypsies of Iran migrated to this country in groups from India, European countries and some parts of Africa centuries ago.
Iranian gypsies mostly live in Khorasan, Seestan and
Balouchestan, and Southern regions of Iran.
Their places of living are the shanty regions of cities. They are deprived from primary needs of living as water, electricity, heating as well as from cultural and educational environment. Male gypsies work to make a living; their women do jobs as shepherd and Making handicrafts. in this series I have focused on portrait of these Gypsy women.
